Additional security measures to protect investors’ accounts
Our team constantly implements measures to safeguard access to our investors’ accounts and funds.
This time, we have implemented a solution that will draw our investors’ attention when logging into the PeerBerry account from a new device:
- the investor will receive an email about logging in from a new device,
- the investor will see all login sessions in the Settings section and will be able to log out of any of them.
If you receive an email informing you that a login attempt has been made from a new device and you are sure it is not you, please go to the Settings section of your account and terminate the authorization session/sessions you do not recognize. Then, reset your password and set 2FA to ensure the safety of your account.
Information about active login sessions is available on the desktop and will later be added to the PeerBerry app.
Please note other measures we apply to keep you cautious and to prevent your funds so no one else except you can withdraw them:
- A two-factor authenticator (2FA) is in place on PeerBerry to secure your account.
- Deposit/withdrawal confirmation emails to trigger your attention to ensure whether you made such a deposit/withdrawal. The first and the last characters of the bank account from which the deposit was made are shown in the email.
- Withdrawals are not processed to newly added bank accounts on the same day.
