PeerBerry enters its 10th year: €3.6 billion in funded loans and over €60 million earned by investors
At the beginning of November 2026, PeerBerry marks nine full years of operations and enters its 10th year. Since its launch in 2017, investors have funded nearly €3.6 billion in loans and received more than €60 million in interest. Today, the platform brings together over 124,000 users, while its outstanding loan portfolio has surpassed €160 million.

The anniversary reflects nine years of growth, international expansion, and long-term cooperation with investors and lending partners. Throughout this period, PeerBerry investors have not experienced any investment losses, and the platform has never recorded a defaulted loan.
Nine years of growth: from launch to €3.6 billion in funded loans
Since launching in November 2017, PeerBerry has steadily expanded its investment offering, international network of loan originators, and investor community.
Over nine years, investors have collectively funded nearly €3.6 billion in loans through the platform, reflecting the growing scale of investments, repayments, and reinvestments.
Growth has been particularly visible in 2026. At the beginning of the year, PeerBerry’s outstanding loan portfolio stood at €116.34 million. By the end of October, it had reached €160.95 million, an increase of €44.61 million, or 38.3%, supported by growing loan supply from international lending partners and continued investor activity.
More than €60 million in interest paid to investors
Since PeerBerry’s launch, investors have received more than €60 million in interest payments. This represents actual interest already paid, rather than projected earnings.
PeerBerry’s historical average annual investment return stands at approximately 11%, although individual returns depend on investment choices, loan terms, and other factors.
As the outstanding loan portfolio has grown, monthly interest payments have also increased. During 2026 alone, PeerBerry investors received €10.27 million in interest.
Nine years without investor losses
Since the platform’s launch in 2017, PeerBerry investors have not suffered any investment losses, and the platform has never had a defaulted loan.
One of the most significant challenges during this period was the impact of the war in Ukraine on loans issued by lending companies operating in affected markets.
PeerBerry and its business partners fulfilled their obligations to investors, with €51.4 million in war-affected loans fully repaid. This achievement demonstrated the importance of long-term business partnerships and financial commitments during challenging market conditions.
PeerBerry continues to emphasize cooperation with established lending businesses, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring of loan originators.
A growing international community of over 124,000 users
PeerBerry’s international community has grown to more than 124,000 users, including individuals and legal entities investing across different loan types, countries, and lending businesses.
The platform offers five main investment categories: short-term, long-term, real estate, business, and leasing loans, allowing investors to diversify their portfolios according to their preferred investment terms and strategies.
International expansion brings more investment opportunities
Over the years, PeerBerry has developed an international network of lending partners operating across Europe, Africa, Asia, America, and Australia.
Aventus Group, PeerBerry’s largest business partner, has played an important role in this development. Its expanding international lending operations continue to contribute to the supply of loans available on the platform.
During 2026, PeerBerry also significantly expanded its short-term loan offering. At the beginning of the year, short-term loans accounted for approximately 7% of the outstanding portfolio. By the end of October, their share had reached 23.85%, more than tripling in ten months.
This provides additional opportunities for investors who prefer shorter investment periods and more frequent reinvestment opportunities.
