Aventus Group expands to Malaysia, creating new diversification opportunities for PeerBerry investors

PeerBerry’s long-term business partner, Aventus Group, has expanded its operations to Malaysia this year, further strengthening the Group’s presence in Asia and adding another market to its increasingly diversified international business.

The new Malaysian lending company, TunaiPantas, is expected to join the PeerBerry partner network in the coming months. Once the necessary integration is completed, loans issued by TunaiPantas are planned to become available for investment on PeerBerry, providing investors with access to another geographic market.

TunaiPantas operates as a licensed Malaysian lender offering short-term loans. According to the company’s current terms, it holds a money-lending license issued by Malaysia’s Ministry of Local Government Development.

The expansion into Malaysia represents another step in Aventus Group’s strategy of building a geographically diversified financial technology business across multiple regions and economic environments.

Why Malaysia?

With a population of approximately 34.4 million, including around 24 million people of working age, Malaysia offers a sizeable consumer base for financial services.

The country also has a highly developed digital environment, making it particularly suitable for technology-driven lending. Market research estimates individual internet usage at around 98%, while demand for digitally originated credit continues to expand.

For Aventus Group, the combination of a sizeable working-age population, high digital adoption, established demand for consumer credit, and an evolving regulatory environment creates an attractive foundation for building a scalable digital lending business.

Aventus Group continues its global expansion

The launch in Malaysia continues a period of significant international expansion for Aventus Group.

Founded in 2009, Aventus Group has developed from a regional lending company into a global financial technology group with operations spanning more than 22 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The Group employs over 5,000 professionals worldwide and is active in lending, real estate, and technology businesses. Since its establishment, Aventus Group companies have collectively issued more than EUR 7 billion in loans.

International diversification remains one of the central elements of the Group’s long-term strategy. By operating across markets with different economic cycles, customer profiles, and stages of development, Aventus Group is building a broader and more geographically balanced business.

What does the expansion mean for PeerBerry investors?

Aventus Group’s growth directly impacts the investment opportunities available on PeerBerry.

As PeerBerry’s largest business partner expands its lending operations, a portion of the loans issued by its companies can be made available for investment on the platform. Growing lending volumes have already contributed to a significant increase in PeerBerry’s loan supply during 2026.

Adding new markets also broadens the possibilities for geographic diversification. Rather than concentrating investments in a limited number of countries, PeerBerry investors can distribute their portfolios across lending companies operating in different regions and economic environments.

Malaysia will add another Asian market to this international mix once TunaiPantas loans become available on PeerBerry.

Aventus Group’s scale also matters in the context of the Group guarantee, which applies to loans by eligible Aventus Group lenders on PeerBerry. The guarantee means that, in addition to the individual loan originator’s obligations, companies within the Group provide an additional layer of security.

Aventus Group has also demonstrated its ability to meet obligations to PeerBerry investors during challenging periods. This was particularly evident following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, when obligations affected by the war were gradually repaid to PeerBerry investors.

More investment opportunities ahead

TunaiPantas is expected to be added to PeerBerry in the coming months. Detailed information about the company, the loans offered for investment, interest rates, and investment terms will be announced before the first Malaysian loans become available on the platform.

The addition of Malaysia will further broaden the international investment offering available to PeerBerry investors and reflects the continued expansion of Aventus Group into new lending markets.

As Aventus Group continues to grow its existing businesses and expand into new countries, PeerBerry investors can benefit from a broader supply of loans, greater geographic diversification, and access to investment opportunities generated by one of PeerBerry’s largest and longest-standing business partners.
