August 2026 | PeerBerry surpasses €3.5 billion in total funded loans

August marked another important milestone in PeerBerry’s development as the total amount invested in loans since the platform’s launch surpassed €3.5 billion.

The milestone comes alongside continued growth across several key areas of the platform – investor earnings, the outstanding portfolio, the international loan offering, and the PeerBerry community.

Reaching €3.5 billion reflects almost nine years of investment activity on PeerBerry and millions of individual investment decisions across loans provided by the platform’s international business partners.

Outstanding portfolio reaches a new high

During August, PeerBerry investors funded €39.36 million in loans. The outstanding portfolio continued to expand, reaching a record €150.23 million at the end of the month, approximately 4% higher than a month earlier and marking another new high for the platform.

The continued portfolio growth reflects both an increasing supply of investment opportunities and strong investor participation. It is also an indication of continued confidence and long-term trust in PeerBerry, as investors keep their capital invested, reinvest repayments, and grow their portfolios.

Investor earnings continue to grow

August also brought further growth in the amount of interest earned by PeerBerry investors. By the end of August, the total amount of interest paid to investors since PeerBerry’s launch had reached €57.66 million, with investors receiving more than €1.12 million in interest during August alone.

The next milestone is already approaching – at the current pace, PeerBerry expects to surpass €60 million in total interest paid to investors before the end of 2026.

PeerBerry community exceeds 122,000 investors

The international PeerBerry community reached another milestone in August, with the platform now counting more than 122,300 registered users.

PeerBerry entered 2026 with nearly 113,000 verified users, meaning that the community has continued to expand steadily throughout the year.

The growth in the investor base accompanies the increasing amount of capital invested on PeerBerry and the expansion of the platform’s loan supply.

More markets and more investment opportunities

August also strengthened PeerBerry’s international investment offering. South African lender Jabulanimoney began offering short-term loans on PeerBerry during the month, while Paydayloanplus introduced Canada as another market available to investors.

Today, PeerBerry’s loan originator network includes 35 lending companies from 17 countries, spanning Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia, Australia, and Canada.

Investors can diversify across short-term, long-term, real estate, business, and leasing loans, as well as across different business groups, countries, and investment terms.

The expansion of the short-term loan supply has been particularly noticeable during 2026, providing more opportunities for investors who prefer shorter investment cycles and more frequent reinvestment of repayments.

Thank you for your continued trust, investment activity, and for growing with PeerBerry.
