Resilience and growth: Aventus Group strengthens its position in Ukraine

Despite the ongoing war, Ukraine remains an important market within the Aventus Group portfolio and continues to demonstrate strong demand for non-bank lending solutions.

As noted by Andrejus Trofimovas, Founder and CEO of Aventus Group, the microfinance sector in Ukraine has adapted rapidly to wartime conditions. Market participants have strengthened risk management practices, accelerated digitalisation, and adjusted operations to ensure business continuity. Currently, seven Aventus Group companies successfully operate in Ukraine: CreditPlus, Pluscard, Credit7, Sloncredit, Selfiecredit, AUTOMONEY, which specializes in auto leasing, and Paytech, which offers payment services.

For PeerBerry investors, Ukraine was one of the most productive markets before the war. Aventus Group continues to maintain a disciplined approach to lending, focusing on portfolio quality, responsible underwriting, and long-term sustainability. These principles have enabled the Group to operate steadily and maintain performance even in a challenging environment and without external funding.

Demand for accessible financing remains high in Ukraine, as traditional banking services are more limited, creating opportunities for flexible digital lending solutions. This continues to support loan issuance and stable portfolio development.

In addition to its business activities, Aventus Group actively supports communities in Ukraine. Since 2022, more than €4 million has been allocated to charitable initiatives, including humanitarian aid, support for healthcare institutions, and assistance to children with serious illnesses.
