Commitment to transparency: Andrejus Trofimovas clarifies recent media claims

Dear Investors,

In recent days, certain Russian media outlets have published materials about me, containing allegations of “financial misconduct.” As the beneficial owner of a group of companies operating legally and transparently, I find it necessary to inform you directly of the true circumstances to dispel any doubts regarding the transparency and sustainability of our work.

Andrejus Trofimovas, CEO of Aventus Group

In the Russian Federation, a criminal case has been initiated against me under Article 205 (“financing of terrorism”). The grounds for this were my humanitarian activities in Ukraine. Thanks to our efforts in Ukraine, hundreds of civilians were evacuated from the city of Mariupol, which at that time was being completely destroyed. Such a scale of assistance, of course, could not go unnoticed by Russia and has become the reason for the pressure I am facing today.

To disguise the true motive, Russian media outlets present these accusations as “financial violations” or “fraud,” which have nothing to do with reality. Moreover, all of the alleged actions to which they attempt to link me refer to a period when I no longer owned any business in Russia and could not influence the decisions taken there.

I would like to emphasize that my activities, and the activities of the Group as a whole, have always been conducted strictly in accordance with the law and regulatory requirements. All reports and indicators of our companies are fully transparent and are in full compliance with the requirements in countries we operate. I also want to assure you that Russia’s actions initiated against me have no impact on our business and the safety of your investments.

Yours sincerely,

Andrejus Trofimovas
