What is net annual return (NAR)?

Net annual return (NAR) is an annualized measure of the rate of return on actual investments made in loans, after actual write-offs and service charges.

NAR is not a forward-looking projection of performance. NAR is only calculated for the amount of money invested in loans. Funds that sit in an investor’s PeerBerry account but are not invested in loans are not included in NAR calculations.
